The
Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) is based in
Zurich, Switzerland, and is considered one of the leading
German-language newspapers. It has a circulation of about
160,000 and is read mainly in Switzerland but also in
Germany, Austria and other countries. It was founded in
1780 and is one of the oldest newspapers in the world.
Until 1969 the NZZ published three different editions a
day! (And they didnt even have computers in those
days.)
I am based in Jerusalem and have reported for
the NZZ on Israel and the Middle East since 1987. I write between 200
and 250 articles a year -- which means I have so
far written a total of about 3000. Lately I have also turned to science reporting.
Soon you will be able to find some of the latter articles here.

The saddest article I ever had to write was the report
about the murder of prime minister Yitzhak Rabin.
